The difference between high-power LEDsmd lamp beads and low-power LEDsmd lamp beads
At present, a large number of commonly used LED lamp beads are low-power 0.06W low-power lamp beads, and their lumens can reach 7LM. If the power needs to reach 1W, 15 identical LEDs need to be used, and the total lumens is 15*7 =105LM, which means 100LM/W can be achieved.
If the power of a single chip is 1W, its output lumen can be up to 80LM, and the conventional is about 60LM.
In terms of the manufacturing cost of the product, the cost of high-power LEDs is higher than that of low-power LEDs. High-power LEDs require aluminum heat sinks, while low-power LEDs only need to use ordinary circuit boards, which can be achieved by natural heat dissipation. High-power materials is higher than that of low-power materials.
Heat dissipation requirements:
If the power of an LED lamp bead is greater than 0.2W, an aluminum substrate needs to be used to assist in heat dissipation. No matter how high the power of the LED lamp bead is, an aluminum shell and an aluminum heat sink need to be added. The installation of too dense low-power LEDs also needs to be considered from the design. The problem of heat dissipation, incorrect heat dissipation will shorten the life of the LED.
(1) At present, most of the LED lamps have a lifespan of about 50,000 hours. There are many factors that will affect the lifespan of the LEDs during use. Among them, the lifespan of the IC will also limit the lifespan of the lamps.
(2) The higher the driving efficiency of the LED, the better. The design layout should be as far away from the heat source as possible. The LED lamp beads can also be filled with glue to achieve the effect of insulation and heat dissipation.
(3) The temperature rise of the heat dissipation design is preferably controlled below 35, and the crystal is below 80.
